Terms and Fees
Fees:
Therapy appointments at all stages (assessment, intervention, ending and follow-up review) consist of sessions lasting up to 50 minutes.
All appointments are charged at £140.
Appointments can also be extended to 70 minutes with an additional charge of £40.
Payment:
Fees are paid at the end of each appointment by electronic bank transfer.
Private Healthcare Insurance: I am a registered provider and accept referrals from the following healthcare insurance companies: AXA Health, Aviva, Cigna, Vitality Health and WPA.
Location:
My clinic is located at: SW8 2HA, London, United Kingdom which is about a 6-minutes walk from Stockwell station on the Victoria and Northern Line.
Appointment Times:
The appointment times I am able to offer depends on my caseload and availability at a given time. As such, please contact me via email to discuss potential slots.
I am able to offer flexible slots before and after the work week hours and during the weekend.
Rescheduling and Cancellations:
Appointments can be changed up until 48 hours before their agreed time and date. Any changes within the 48 hours period will result in the session being fully charged.
I will inform at least two weeks in advance of any planned changes in my availability. If I must change an appointment due to an emergency, you will not be charged.
Confidentiality and Personal Information
Confidentiality and Personal Information Storage:
Confidentiality is fundamental part of the therapy. As such, I am committed to collecting personal data, including contact details, bank transfers details and clinical notes only for the purpose of providing therapy and storing them in a safe and secured manner. All data is stored electronically with two levels of password protection.
To protect your data optimally, my practice complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), British Psychological Society’s Professional Code of Practice and the UK Data Protection Act 1998, and I am registered with the Information Commissionaires Office (ICO; Registration Number: ZB029994).
Only in the following specific situations, as part of following legal obligations and with good practice guidelines, your information may be shared:
Risk - If it is perceived that you or others are at risk, I have a legal obligation to contact emergency services, such as the police and community mental health teams, as well as inform the relevant GP. Whenever possible, this will be discussed with you first.
Legal/unlawful action - In specific legal situations, a court of law may formally request information about our sessions and I will be compelled to provide it. If you think that this is a possibility, please let me know in advance.
In addition, it is clinical duty of all therapists to receive regular supervision, which is also bound by ethics and commitment to the protection of your confidentiality. Should I discuss any aspects of our work in supervision, no identifiable details will be provided to ensure you are fully anonymised.
Written Reports
In case you are have been referred by agencies such as General Practitioners (GPs), Solicitors, Insurance and Rehabilitation Companies, I may have to provide a summary of our initial assessment and the therapeutic agreement. In addition, I may have to provide additional feedback in case these agencies are funding your therapy. Your permission will be sought before providing this information and I will share with you the written report before I send it.
